Woman Holding Space #3

$1,500.00

‘Woman Holding Space #3’ is holding space for new life, the next generation.

She is one expression of light in a large series of life size monochromatic glass women that I’ve been working on in 2024. All “holding space” for these challenging times. Each doing so with unique and full presence.

Amidst these confusing times that we’re all experiencing, I find my 62 year old self tickling the surface of a deep (sometimes disturbing) feeling that I am uniquely wired to hold space for what is real right now and what is yet to come. Many of us can feel we’re heading into a time when destruction of the old broken way is necessary, even as we hold hope there will be something better to replace it. That something is precisely what requires the holding of space. Dare I say steadily holding space for love, caring and acceptance ? I’m actively looking to see how others are creatively holding this kind of space too.
