Tangerine Sky
In honor of October 10th being World Mental Health Day I’m inspired to share the first of my 12 cocktail napkin designs that I’ll be sharing for the next 12 days. For the fun of it my first design uses one of my most exuberant acrylic paintings called ‘Tangerine Sky’, the colors inspired by my favorite childhood swimsuit that I loved so much. The energy and color of it boosts my spirits. I hope it does for you too.
Tom and I really love having my art napkins in a basket on our dining table for every day use. It feel so good to have fully converted to them a couple years ago knowing they save on paper and plastic waste and they spare us from having to shop for the bulky packs of paper products.
Can I interest you in converting to these small art napkins? They’re officially called cocktail napkins and are much smaller than formal cloth dinner napkins at 10”x10” (versus 20”x20”). Whether you create some with your own fabric or choose from my offerings in the Linen Arts Store I’d love to encourage you to give cloth napkins a try.
My art napkins come in sets of 4, 8 or 12 and are printed on eco cotton linen, with eco friendly dyes, so they’re really pleasant to use and last a loooong time. I hope you’ll consider starting a collection of your own for daily use.
Oh, and because these are much smaller than formal “dinner napkins” we’ve discovered that a weeks worth only adds up to the size of one additional t-shirt in our laundry.
It’s one of my greatest wishes to do whatever I can to help reclaim the health of the planet and each soul upon it,
~Zora
